Contract manufacturing · Miami, Florida, USA

Private label cosmetics manufacturer where beauty brands are born.

ALFA Manufacturing Group (ALFA MFG) is an FDA-registered, ISO 22716 cGMP manufacturer of haircare, skincare and bath & body products. Formulation, salon testing, compounding, filling and quality control all happen under one roof in Miami — so international buyers deal with one accountable partner instead of a chain of subcontractors.

Choose from 1,000+ stock formulations, commission an original formula from our chemists, or bring your own formula for production at scale. Every quote states MOQs, fees and lead times upfront.

Manufacturing services

Three ways to build your line.

Pick the engagement model that matches your timeline, budget and how unique your formula needs to be. Many brands start with private label and move to custom formulation for their hero SKU.

Buyer tip: budget for MOQ per SKU, not per range. Launching three shampoos in 8 oz bottles means three runs of 2,500 units each.

Inside the plant

Tested where it matters — in our on-site salon.

Most contract manufacturers send samples out and wait for feedback. We built a professional salon inside the factory, so every haircare formula is worked by licensed stylists and real clients before it carries your name.

  • Stylist and consumer feedback recorded at every sample round
  • Benchmarked side by side against leading professional brands
  • Findings feed straight back to the chemists — same building, same day
  • Shorter development loops mean fewer sample rounds and faster launches

Buyer questions

Answers before you ask.

The questions importers, distributors and brand owners raise most often during supplier evaluation.

Sourcing from outside the U.S.? Prepare these five items

  1. Your target markets, so registration documents can be planned from day one.
  2. A benchmark product or a written claims brief (e.g. sulfate-free, vegan, SPF-free).
  3. Packaging format and size per SKU — it sets your MOQ.
  4. A 12-month volume forecast to unlock tier pricing at 5,000, 10,000 or 20,000+ units.
  5. Your preferred shipping terms and destination port or warehouse.
How long does it take to launch a private label or custom cosmetic product?
Custom prototypes are delivered in 2–4 weeks and most projects need 1–3 sample rounds. Once the formula and packaging are approved, full production runs take 4–8 weeks door to door.
What are ALFA MFG's minimum order quantities?
MOQs depend on the container: 10,000 units for sachets (5–15 ml); 5,000 units for bottles and jars from 10 ml to 2 oz (2,500 units for luxury skincare); 2,500 units for bottles, jars and tubes from 2.1 oz to 32 oz; and 480 units for 128 oz gallons.
What does custom cosmetic development cost?
The R&D development fee is USD 500–1,000 and is credited to your first production order. A 50% deposit schedules production, and quotes are held for 30 days.
Can you match a benchmark product?
Yes. The in-house R&D lab develops original formulas and benchmark matches. Send the reference product and your target claims, and the chemists build prototypes against it.
Can I bring my own formula?
Yes. Through contract manufacturing, ALFA MFG compounds and fills client-owned formulas at scale, from pilot batches to national retail volumes.
Do you handle filling and labeling?
Yes. Filling and labeling are handled in-house on 17 fill lines covering sachets, tubes, bottles, jars and 128 oz gallons, so the product leaves the plant retail-ready.
Do you support international product registration?
Yes. Compliance documentation and testing are handled in-house, and the team provides international registration support for brands selling outside the United States.
How does salon testing work?
Haircare formulas are worked by professional stylists and real clients in the on-site salon at every sample round, benchmarked against leading professional brands, and the findings feed straight back into formulation.
